US regulations: Any reference to a section or sections from US regulations in the deed of lease shall be regarded as applying the provisions of said section or sections with the necessary changes and as validated from time to time, including the protocols and standards that were added to the relevant sections of US regulations or came in their place; In this respect, “US regulations”- the following detailed protocols and standards prescribed by the US Department of Interior:

30 CFR Part 250 Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE);
30 CFR Part 550 Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM).
